A little about us . . .
Tarlyn is a family-oriented show and breeding kennel, specializing specifically
in AKC registered Miniature Smooth and Wirehaired Dachshunds. It is
the combined effort of mother and daughter working to produce the "most correct"
Dachshund--healthy, top quality Dachshunds that conform
to the AKC Breed Standard. We believe in not only producing a quality,
well-bred Dachshund, but being able to do it consistently. Our well thought
out breeding program has produced top winning miniatures, and we have been
proving this for over 40 years. It is not only the quality that counts,
but its the consistency that matters!
Our main focus is to produce a better Dachshund, hence a better show dog.
However, it is simply impossible to keep every puppy we think has show potential.
Therefore, we occasionally have pet and show puppies available to well-rounded,
family-oriented homes where the puppy is cherished as a member of the family.
Our pet puppies are sold with AKC Limited Registration and a spay/neuter
contract. We do not sell dogs for breeding purposes or ship our dogs.

We are located in the Poconos of PA, approximately 1 3/4 hours from New York City
and Philadelphia.
